Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, August 18, 2023, George Robert Lambert of Carbonear, age 81 years. Predeceased by wife: Irene; daughter: Barbara Bousquet; parents: George and Dorothy; sisters: Lillian and Marie Quirke. Leaving to mourn, children: George (Goldie) Lambert, Glovertown, Wanda (Wayne - deceased) Drodge, St. John’s, Anne Marie Gardner, Charlemont, MA, USA, Roberta Gardner, Boston, MA, USA, Karl (Jeannie) Gardner, Shiremanstown, PA, USA, Jennifer (John) Lambe, Brampton, ON, and Karen Lambert, Carbonear; granddaughter: Savannah Lambert; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; girlfriend: Christine Parsons and special friends: Sherry and Wade, all of Victoria; brother: Clarence (Daphne) Lambert, St. John’s; two sisters: Evelyn Hunt, Moose Jaw, NS and Bertha (Dave - deceased) Fitzpatrick, Lawn; special brother-in-law: Cyril (Rita) Pike, Carbonear; members of the Pike family, as well as a large number of other relatives and friends. Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Monday, August 21 from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 22 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 23 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, August 23 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear.
