Maldywn, so sorry to hear of Leah’s passing. Didn’t get to visit the funeral home or go to the service, we were away, and only saw her notice the day of Leah’s funeral. She was a very kind and thoughful lady and I enjoyed our chats over the years, She is now in a much better place free if suffering. It appears that the last several years have been challenging; I have inquired from a few sources but did not get any specifics I recall happier days when you first dated Leah while staying with my parents at our old homestead in Old Perlican. Aunt Leah, I am so glad myself, Monty and the kids had the chance to come and see you a couple weeks ago while we were home visiting in Newfoundland. I won't lie and say it was an easy visit, as we could see how much had changed from our visit last year when you were still living at home. But, I had hoped it would not be our last visit and that we would have the opportunity for a few more with you before we had to say goodbye. I hope that you are no longer in pain and living the life reunited with all those who left before you. Give Nan and Pop, Uncle Billy, Uncle Clyde, Uncle Sonny and Uncle Harold and anyone else I may have forgotten a big hug from us. My dear beautiful aunt .....words cannot express how I feel reading your obituary it’s really real. You were one of a kind a beautiful kind, caring and very compassionate lady that would do without to give to somebody else. You were the aunt that all I had to do was make that call and you were there or if I needed anything you made sure I had it from a dress to $20 I will never forget that. The last few years your quality of life deteriorated it was very hard visiting and seeing you not being able to take care of everybody else like you always did and enjoyed. My dear aunt you are gone to a better place finally at rest until we meet again I will never forget you and I will always love you! Thank you for all you have done for me! Love Colleen
