Passed peacefully away at Cold Lake, AB on December 9, 2022, Sharron Gail Oates of Bonnyville, AB formally of Carbonear, NL age 63 years. Predeceased by parents: Joseph and Annie Oates; brother: Jerry Oates. Leaving to mourn, special friend of 25 years Wilfred ‘Whitey’ Galey, Bonnyville, AB; sisters: Sandra (John) Whalen, Bonnyville, AB and Hilda (Phillip) St. George, Grand Prairie, AB; nieces and nephews: Susan (Adam) Bishop, Cold Lake, AB, Jamie (Andrea) Oates, Gould’s, NL, and Jasmine (Justin) Gehlert, Spruce Grove, AB; great nieces and nephews: Austin and Wyatt Bishop, Kennedy, Wesley, Ivy, and Nora Oates, and Cassius Gehlert; sister-in-law: Genevieve Oates, Gould’s, NL; close friends: Barb (Darin) Hewitt, Sunridge, ON, Marion (John) Jasperse, Leo, Indiana, and Dorothy Simmer, Fenelon Falls, ON; also many friends in Ontario and Newfoundland. Celebration of Life to take place on Wednesday, July 12 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear. Interment in Bethany United Cemetery, Carbonear.
