Passed peacefully away at Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear on Thursday, April 27, 2023, Mary Agnes Green of Lower Island Cove, age 70 years. Predeceased by parents: James and Annie Fitzgibbons; parents-in-law: Job and Violet Green; brother: Jerome Fitzgibbons; sisters: Kathleen Fitzgibbons, Theresa Fitzgibbons, and Catherine Fitzgibbons; brothers-in-law: Douglas Green and Arthur Green; sisters-in-law: Eileen (Douglas) Tucker and Sharon Faulkner. Leaving to mourn, husband: Ralph; son: Jerome (Denise), St. John’s; four grandchildren: Justine, Dustin, Quinn, and Cassidy; three sisters: Dot (John) Noonan, Winnie (Wayne) Power, and Elizabeth (Graham) Power, all of Bay de Verde; brother: James (Patsy - deceased) Johnson, Northern Bay; brother-in-law: Russell Green, Old Perlican; also a large number of other relatives and friends. The family would like to extend sincere thanks to the staff of Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear who cared for Mary over the last 3 years. Visitation at Memorial United Church, Burnt Point on Sunday, April 30 from 1:30 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Monday, May 1 at 2:00 p.m. from Memorial United Church, Burnt Point. Interment in the United Cemetery, Lower Island Cove.
