Obituary of Peter Layman

Peter Layman, age 82 years, passed away Monday, March 27, 2023 peacefully at his residence in Ochre Pit Cove, surrounded by his loving family, homecare workers, and special friends.
Leaving to mourn his absence, his wife: Elizabeth ‘Bessie’ of 55 years; his loving daughter: Cathy (Alphonsus); loving son: Sean (Andrea);
His loving loyal companion: Ellie Bean, Newfoundland dog.
Four grandchildren; Gregory, Waterdown, Ontario, Lindsay (Brandon), Salmon Cove, Katelyn (Daniel), Lloyd Minister, AB, and Colby, Ochre Pit Cove.
Six great-grandchildren: Greyson, Georgia, Gabriella, Sawyer, Willow, and Thomas.
Three brothers: Mike (Yvonne), Joe (Marie), and Ron (Ellen); sister: Mary Ann (Jim).
Special nephew: John (Michelle).
Brothers-in-law: Joe (Bev), Cyril (Sharon - deceased), and Rick (Bern).
Sisters-in-law: Debbie (Ross) and Claire.
Best friends: Paul and Loretta, Neddie and Pauline, Edward and Linda.
And two very special homecare workers: Della and Lorraine.
Large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Predeceased by his son: Paul.
Parents: Mike Joe and Angela; parents-in-law; Maggie and Fraser.
His brothers; Pat (June), Ted, Paul, and Willie Leo, sisters: Genevieve and Veronica; niece and Godchild: Angie; sister-in-law: Valerie; brother-in-law: Derrick; his nephew: Jamie.
Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Saturday, April 1 from 2:30 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Sunday, April 2 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Funeral Mass to take place on Monday, April 3, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. from Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, Northern Bay.
Interment in Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Cemetery, Northern Bay on Tuesday, April 4 at 3:00 p.m.
