Obituary of Jean Milley

Passed peacefully away after a short battle with cancer and in the presence of her loving family at her residence on Saturday, February 11, 2023, Jean Milley of Blackhead, formerly of St. John’s, age 86 years. Predeceased by husband: Walter; daughter: Janice; partner: Dave LeDrew; parents: Gideon and Sarah Squires; brothers: Gideon, Raymond, and Charlie. Leaving to mourn, son: David (Margaret); step-son: Mike (Jamie) LeDrew and family; five grandchildren: Walter (Darlene), Melissa, Paul, Justin (Sarah), and Jennifer (Mike); four great-grandchildren: Francheska, Zachary, Blake, and Mya; three sisters: Audrey (Boyd-deceased) Rowe, Doreen Brophy, and Dot Street (Ed Winsor); sisters-in-law: Gloria Squires and Faith Squires; also a large number of other relatives and friends. At Jean’s request, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral service. Interment to be held at a later date.
