Obituary of David Slade

Passed peacefully away at his residence on Monday, February 6, 2023, David Slade of Salmon Cove, age 68 years. Predeceased by parents: Arthur and Elizabeth; sister: Anne Marie Diamond. Leaving to mourn, wife: Barbara; son: Ralph (Lynn), Small Point; two grandchildren: Georgia and Morgan; four brothers: Carter (Amelia - deceased), Jobs Cove, Winston (Florence), Rex (Ada), and Allan (Claudia), all of Salmon Cove; three sisters: Linda (Jim) Snow, Hr. Grace, Andrea (Reg - deceased) Slade, Salmon Cove, and Alvina (Elvis) Hopkins, Carbonear; special friends: Tony and Terry Cull, Gerald and Jean Parsons; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Wednesday, February 8 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, February 9 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Friday, February 10 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Friday, February 10 at 2:00 p.m. from Riverside United Church, Salmon Cove. Interment in the United Cemetery, Perry’s Cove.
