My condolences to Ralph's family and friends. I have known Ralph since I coached his boys when they were young playing softball. Would often see him come to watch his boys play. My special memories of me and Mr Parsons. In the two years we spent together as his care provider, we began a special relationship, taking little shopping trips and little drives, where he showed me around the community. The places he grew up and went to school. Much of what he told me of is no longer there, but the stories brought everything to life for me, and it didn’t stop there. With him in his rocking chair he would call out to me “Come and sit down now”and as soon as I did he began telling me about his life working on different jobs and being away from his family. It was hard for him but he would always look at me, laugh and say”The grub was always good”. My last big memory of him and me was in the kitchen while I was cutting his hair, we were both laughing and joking about how it was going to turn out. Was I going to mess it up or not. He blurted out “You know hair always grows back”. I will miss you my good friend. My sincere condolences to the Parsons family.
