Passed away after a brief illness and in the presence of his loving family at Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, November 21, 2022, Darryl Butt of Broad Cove, age 66 years. Predeceased by parents: John and Nina; infant daughter: Megan; brother: William David; grandparents: George and Ollie Swain, Moses and Beatrice Butt; niece: Lisa Butt; special aunt and uncle: Walter and Audrey Knight. Leaving to mourn, loving partner: Linda; two brothers: Gerald (Winnie) and Roger Moses, both of Broad Cove; sister: Dorothy (Matt) Slade, Broad Cove; nephews: Kevin (Paulette) Butt and Paul Butt; niece: Jessica (Blair) Keats; great-nieces: Kylie and Paige; great-nephew: Chase; step-children: Daphne King and Jason Slade; step-granddaughter: Keisha King; special pet: Charley; also a large number of other relatives and friends. First visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Tuesday, November 22 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.; 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Second visitation at Noel’s Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Wednesday, November 23 from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Thursday, November 24 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, November 24 at 2:00 p.m. from McDowell United Church, Western Bay. Interment in the United Church Cemetery, Blackhead.
