Edna and Family, Sorry to hear of Carl's passing, I (Tom) remember Carl best from school and University days, and of course out at Walt's place. Always fun loving and adventurous, Carl proved to be a good buddy. Unfortunately, the years and distance have resulted in little contact; however, pleasant teenage memories still linger. Edna, my first contact with you was when you were first married and Carl and Lloyd worked down in Labrador City. I always thought you two were a fine couple! I know that Carl has been sick for a while but, you never expected for him to leave you so soon. I know that you and your sons and their children have a lot of wonderful memories of your time with him and you were able to take a trip this Summer to Ontario even though it was sad for you both. As I read this post many childhood memories come floating in my mind SO MANY that include carl edna little carl claudette and trevor from many meals and sleep overs to building their new home which resulted in me chopping my finger nearly off to a 8in nail through the foot. These are just some of the memories that I will cherish and by doing that carl your memory will always live on thinking of you all .
