Obituary of Nellie (Stevenson) Archibald

Born in Harbour Grace on August 23, 1924. Passed peacefully away at her residence on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, Nellie Grace Archibald in her 98th year. Predeceased by her husband: Ralph (1986); parents: Samuel and Hettie Stevenson; brother: Charles (2022); sister: Jenny Alley (John) (2014). Leaving to mourn, son: Gary (Helene McBay); daughter: Betty (Melvin); grandchildren: Tanya Burt (Greg), Tina White (Pete Ryan), and Chantelle; sister-in-law: Clarissa Stevenson; many nieces and nephews; special feline companion: Cody; special friends and caregivers: Shirley Pelley, who predeceased Nellie in 2022 and Mabel Carpenter. Heartfelt thank you to the caregivers of Compassionate Homecare for their care in her last weeks. Also, thank you to Dr. Howse and the nursing staff at Carbonear General Hospital. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral service as per her request. Interment to be held at a later date.
