Passed away at Private Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, Glenys M. Swain of Carbonear, age 74 years.
Predeceased by husband: Lloyd; parents: Boyd and Hilda Evely; brothers: William Evely, Raymond (Phyllis) Evely, and Joseph Evely; brother-in-law: Wayne Dion.
Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Tracey (Stuart) Graham and grandson: Christian, Ottawa and Joanne (Brent) Hamilton, Halifax; son: Scott (Heather) Swain and grandson: Matthew (Brettany), Halifax; two great-grandchildren: Aubree and Everett; seven brothers: Wayne (Daphne) Evely, Carbonear, James (Diane) Evely, Victoria, Albert (Daphne) Evely, Ontario, Gary (Pamela) Evely, Roger (Shelley) Evely, Tony Evely, all of Flatrock, and Darren (Sherri) Evely, Carbonear; two sisters: Elaine Dion, Carbonear and Faye Evely (Patrick), Grandfalls-Windsor; sister-in-law: Connie Evely, Victoria and also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Private family visitation, by invite only at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Wednesday, June 22 from 2:30 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Private family funeral service to take place on Thursday, June 23 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Water Street, Carbonear. Private family interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear.
The family respectfully ask for masks to be worn during both the visitation and funeral service.
As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted.
