Obituary of Marie Elizabeth Whalen

Passed peacefully away on Sunday, June 19th, 2022 at Carbonear General Hospital in her 80th year Marie Elizabeth Whalen. Predeceased by her parents: Blanche and Gideon Stockwood; brother: Bob Wheeler; brothers-in-law: James Mansbridge and Bill Crummey; parents in-law: Earl and Sadie Whalen; nephew: Jeffrey Clarke. Leaving to mourn her passing with fond and loving memories, her husband Boyd; children: Terry and Gail; grandchildren: Richard, Nathan, Luc, Dale, and Jimmy; great-grandchildren: Matt, Jake, and Liv; sisters: Jean Mansbridge and Carol Villemaire (Yves); brothers: Leslie Stockwood (Shirley), Raymond Stockwood (Beverly), and Harold Stockwood (Marie); sisters-in law: Betty Clarke (Ross), Dorothy Crummey, and Greta Koons (Les) and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Also, her homecare workers Bonnie Penney and Leeann Pottle, who were exceptionally good to her. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Marie touched everyone she met in a positive and personal way. She was loved by all.
