Obituary of Elsie M. Pynn

Passed away suddenly but peacefully at her daughter’s residence in Barrie, Ontario on Thursday, May 26, 2022, Elsie Pynn of Harbour Grace, age 88 years. Mom was born and raised in Brigus, where she always kept in touch with her many family and friends, even after moving to Harbour Grace many years ago. Mom was always the life of the party. Mom’s love for her family was evident. She hosted many dinners for her family, that was topped off with homemade cookies or cake. She was loved, is missed and will be remembered by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives, and friends. Predeceased by husband: George; son: Les; parents: James and Elizabeth Percy, and all her siblings. Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Maxine (Phil) Monahan, Harbour Grace and Debbie (Joe) Klein, Barrie, ON; two sons: Doug (Angela), Harbour Grace and Don (Jackie), Carbonear; daughter-in-law: Louise Pynn; nine grandchildren: Heather (Randy), Connie (Trevor), Christine (Stephen), Steven (Brittany), Ashley (Brent), Melissa (Andrew), Douglas, Amanda, and Michael; nine great-grandchildren: Sabrina (Noelle), Nicole, Katie, Blake, Connor, Felicity, Leah, Carter, and baby boy on the way; sister-in-law: Murley Percy, as well as, a large number of other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Saturday, June 18 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Committal service to follow at St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Harbour Grace. No flowers by request.
