Obituary of George Sterling Vaters

Passed peacefully away, with his family by his side at the University of Alberta hospital in Edmonton, George Sterling Vaters, formerly of Salmon Cove, age 73 years. Predeceased by parents: Mark and Myra; brother: Austin; sister: Judy; granddaughter: Katelyn; niece: Shelly; sister-in-law: Vera; parents-in-law: George and Cora Coish; sister-in-law: Venetta; brother-in-law: Cyril; nephew: Desmond, and his fur buddy: Milo. Left with many fond and loving memories are his wife of 48 years, Yvonne; son: Jeff (Cora-Lynn); daughters: Tammy (Ricky) and “Pop’s boy” Damyn, Jennifer (Courtney), and yet to be received new addition; brothers: Gerald, Dave (Myra), Don (Betty), Mark (Kathy), and Wayne (Paula); brothers-in-law: Derrick (Kelly) and Dennis (Grace); as well as a number of nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the Paramedics, Doctors, Nurses and all the wonderful staff who helped us during this unexpected difficult time. Cremation has taken place.
