Obituary of Carol Rose

Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear on Monday, January 10, 2022, Carol Rowena Rose of Salmon Cove, age 78 years. Predeceased by husband: Samson; granddaughter: Stacey; parents: Francis and Minnie Spurrell; sister: Mary (Hayward) Noseworthy; brothers: Maxwell (Stella), Gordon, and Chesley. Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Cheryl Rose (Gene O'Grady), Carbonear and Maryette (Jim) Sheppard, Holyrood; two sons: Darrell (Stephanie), Salmon Cove and Barry (Vanessa), Victoria; eight grandchildren: Samantha, Kristen (Adam), Cheryl (Nick), Douglas, Madison, Tiffany, Drake, and Chloe; one great-granddaughter: Whitney; brothers-in-law: William Rose, Carbonear and Roy Oldford, Port Blandford; sisters-in-law: Beulah Spurrell, Harbour Grace and Florence Rose, Salmon Cove; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Following pandemic guidelines, visitation by invitation only at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Funeral service by invitation only on Friday, January 14 at 2:00 p.m. from Riverside United Church, Salmon Cove. Proof of vaccination required for visitation and funeral service. Interment in Riverside United Cemetery, Salmon Cove. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to Riverside United Church, P.O.
