Obituary of Annette Williams (Shute)

With great sadness and loving hearts, we the family of (Elizabeth) Annette Williams (nee-Shute) said farewell on Thursday July 15th 2021, Grande Prairie, AB; formerly of Harbour Grace, aged 53 years. Predeceased by father: Hayward Shute; parents-in-law: Ambrose & Marie Williams; grandparents: William and Jessie Shute and John and Gertrude Smith. Leaving to mourn with precious memories and endless love husband of 33 years, Walter Williams; loving children, daughter: Brittany; son: Jeremy; grandchild: Jaxon Williams who was Nanny’s best friend and snuggle buddy; step-children: Christine (Jamie) and Jason; grandchildren whom she loved: Katelyn, Curtis, Jessica, Cody, MacKenzy, Chase & Ryder; her devoted mother: Joan Shute (nee- Smith), Harbour Grace; sisters: Heather, Mount Pearl and Sandra (Peter) Noer, Cavendish; nieces and nephews: Anna, Simon and Adam; as well as a large circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends. Annette was an amazing friend to everyone who had the privilege to know her. Her smile would light up a room and she was described by a co-worker as having a superpower in encouragement where she would offer support where she could. “Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day, unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed and very dear.” A service of love and remembrance will be held at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Harbour Grace on Saturday October 2, 2021 at 2:00 p.m., by invitation only. The family will be present at the church prior to the start of the service from 10:00 am to 12 noon to accept family and friends. Interment will take place in St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
