Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, September 4, 2021, Ruby C. Summers of Victoria, age 88 years.
Predeceased by 1st husband: Arthur G. Summers; daughter: Suzanne; grandson: Paul; sister: Blanche Powell; 2nd husband: Hubert Simms.
Leaving to mourn, one daughter: Elaine Moore (Melvin), Carbonear; three sons: Gary (Effie), Airdrie, AB, Neil, and Paul, both of Calgary, AB; three grandchildren: Ashley, Jeremy, and Renee; three great-grandchildren: Ben, Justin, and Summer; staff & residents of Lane's Retirement Living, Carbonear; also a number of other relatives and friends.
Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear, on Tuesday, Sept. 7 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. A private family funeral service to take place on Wednesday, September 8, from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear.
No flowers or donations by request.
