Obituary of Greg Parsons

Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, July 5, 2021, Greg Parsons of Riverhead, Harbour Grace, age 54 years. Predeceased by father: Walter J.; sister: Cecilia Elizabeth. Leaving to mourn, wife: Niki; two sons: Liam and Connor; mother: Carol; parents-in-law: Steve and Bernice Hearn; brother-in-law: Rob (Erin) Hearn; sisters-in-law: Connie (Brian) Furlong, Nancy (Seth) Harvey, and Margaret Hearn; special cousins: Lisa (Bob) Halliday, Shawn (Cheryl) Peddle, and Ian Peddle; special friends: George & Sharon, Paul & Kim, Derrick & Sandra, Trevor & Suzanne, John & Darlene Burke, and the ponchos: Bill, Dave R., Elvis, Frank, Darrin, Dean, and Dave S.; also a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. To say that the joy and light has left our lives is an understatement. Greg had many passions, music, art, golf, technology, but none greater than the love of family and friends. Greg's life was shorter than it should have been but it was full and rich in the blessings of family and friends! We are all blessed for having known him even for so brief a Time! Loved Eternally. Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Harbour Grace on Wednesday, July 14, 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Thursday, July 15, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, July 15, from Coughlan United Church, Harbour Grace, by invitation only. Interment in the United Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
