Obituary of Winnie Rose

It is with the same grace and dignity with which she lived her life, our Mother, Winnie Rose passed away at the wonderful age of 93. She was surrounded by her loving family at her home in Ochre Pit Cove where she lived a very full life showing love, gratitude and kindness to everyone she met. Predeceased by husband: Peter; daughter: Madonna Yetman; granddaughter: Tanya Rose; grandson: Ryan Parsons. Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Rita (Jim), New Brunswick and Gennie (Derrick), Mount Pearl; two sons: John Joe (Pauline), Ochre Pit Cove and Peter (Lolita), Northwest Territories; son-in-law: Paul Yetman, Bristol’s Hope; ten grandchildren: Paddy (Lori), Amy (Aaron), Renee, Laura (Cameron), Katrina, Patricia, Tyler (Samantha), Adam (Lisa), Sammi (Adam), and Jason (Michaela); fifteen great-grandchildren: Dimitri, Jaden, Lucas, Cameron, Calen, Serena, Jordan, Alexander, Aleah, Katelynn, Zack, Summer, Tyler, Silas, and Simon; special friends: Wendy Bursey and Bridget (Ricky) Doyle; cherished cat: Elsie; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Visitation on Sunday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay. Funeral service to take place on Monday, May 3 from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Western Bay, by invitation only.
