Obituary of David 'Dave' Penney

Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family at Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, September 25, 2020, David 'Dave' Penney of Carbonear, age 64 years. Predeceased by mother: Barbara; brother: Cark (Debbie); parents-in-law: Fred and Bertha Ash; sisters-in-law: Gertie Grimes and Ann Ash; brother-in-law: Brian Fillmore. Leaving to mourn, wife: Margaret; one daughter: Michelle (Peter) Rowe, Carbonear; two sons: Michael (Angela), Paradise and Keith (Suzy), Edmonton, AB; eight grandchildren: Max, Sarah, Liam, Madison, Kevin, Chloe, Kelsey, and Ashley; father: Carl, Carbonear; one brother: Roger (Denise), Huntsville, ON; two sisters: Peggy Penney, St. John’s and Connie (Paul) Slade, Salmon Cove; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Flo (Harry) Downey, St. John’s, Muriel (Frank) Patten, Grand Bank, Frank Grimes, Carbonear, Emma Fillmore (Terry), Dartmouth, NS, Bertha (John) Nicholl, Mount Pearl, and Calvin Ash, Carbonear; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private visitation will take place at Noel's Funeral Home, Carbonear, followed by funeral service at Bethany United Church, Carbonear, by invitation only. Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear.
