Passed peacefully away at the Dr. A. A. Wilkinson Memorial Hospital, Old Perlican, on Sunday, September 20, 2020, Winnie Hogan of Gull Island, age 72 years. Predeceased by husband: Peter; parents: Edward and Emma Oliver; sisters: Margaret, Madeline, Martha, and Bernadette; brothers: William, Gussie, and Henry. Leaving to mourn, two sons: Bryan (Shelly) Hogan, Small Point and Donnie Oliver, Gull Island; four grandchildren: Cassie, Bryanna, Caelum, and Evan; two brothers: Neddie (Pauline) Oliver, Gull Island, and Leo (Darlene) Oliver, Old Perlican; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private visitation will take place at Noel's Funeral Home, Western Bay. Funeral Mass from Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, Northern Bay, by invitation only. Interment in Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Cemetery, Northern Bay. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Winnie Hogan Memorial Fund, c/o Noel’s Funeral Home, 106 Water Street, Carbonear, NL, A1Y 1A9.
