Obituary of Una Pike

Passed peacefully away at her home, surrounded by her daughter and sons, on Tuesday, August 18, 2020, Una Pike of Harbour Grace, age 90 years. Predeceased by husband: Capt. Douglas N.; infant daughter: Gloria Louise; infant son: Cecil; son: Capt. Wayne; parents: William and Clara Bray; sisters: Emma Jane, Beatrice, and Hazel; brother: Cyril. Leaving to mourn, daughter: Beverly Ann (Douglas, deceased) Smith, Spaniard’s Bay; three sons: Gary (Betty), Carbonear, Forrest (Beverly Mahaney), and Todd (Wanda), both of Harbour Grace; daughter-in-law: Betty Pike, Carbonear; thirteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; special niece: Bette Thomey, British Columbia; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Special Thank you to Dr. Butt and Coombs Home Care for their care and compassion. Following government legislation due to the pandemic, a private visitation will take place at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace, followed by funeral service at St. Paul's Anglican Church, Harbour Grace by invitation only. Interment in St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
