CURL, Margaret S. - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, November 24, 2011, Margaret S. Curl of Harbour Grace, age 81 years. Predeceased by husband: Thomas; parents: Solomon and Florence Curl; six children; special son-in-law: Lawrence; six brothers. Leaving to mourn, three daughters: Verna Smith, Clarenville, Beatrice (Elaine), Harbour Grace and Daphne (Mike Hennessey), Roddickton; three sons: John (Phyllis), Kelligrews, Guy (Ivy), Roddickton and Denley (Donna), Stock Cove, Bonavista Bay; ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; six brothers: Austin (Ruth), Carbonear, Melvin (Clara), St. Lewis, Grafton (Greta), St. John's, Hollis (Laura) and Herbert (Marie), both of St. John's and Ralph (Helen), Corner Brook; three sisters: Josephine Barrett, Toronto, Mildred Curl (Jeff), St. John's and Lina (Jim) Dowden, Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Committal to take place on Sunday, November 27 at the Anglican Cemetery, St. Lewis, Labrador. As an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
