I met Mr.Milley while i was visiting my friend at the hospital in Carbonear. I was wearing a very colorful scarf which i had made and it caught Mr. Milley's eye and he gave me a big smile. I told him that I had another similar one at home and would bring it to him the next day. The look on his face was wonderful. The next day i brought him his scarf and got a big smile. I'm sorry for the family's loss and am thankful for meeting this sweet man. I did get to see him again in paliative care and hope his journey was swift. Ken Haire

To the family of the late Malcolm Milley, we offered our condolences and sympathies. The oldest man in the community has left us and I am proud that I at one point spent many ours at his house, as I and Jack were good buddies. Malcolm was always a happy joking man. Sorry I could not make it to the funeral home, but if there is any thing that we can do for you guys please let us know.
