Obituary of Catherine M. Fitzgibbons

Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at her family’s residence on Tuesday, February 25, 2020, Catherine M. Fitzgibbons of Northern Bay; formerly of Bay de Verde, age 65 years. Predeceased by parents: James and Annie; sister: Kathleen; brother: Jerome; spouse: Fred Jacobs. Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Corinne (Roger Tucker), Burnt Point and Deanne, Bay de Verde; one son: Jamie, Northern Bay; one brother: James (Patsy, deceased) Johnson, Northern Bay; five sisters: Dot (John) Noonan, Theresa Fitzgibbons, Winnie (Wayne) Power, and Betty (Graham) Power, all of Bay de Verde, Mary (Ralph) Green, Lower Island Cove; special great-nieces: Anna, Taylor, Gracie, and Benjamin; also a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Wednesday, 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Then resting at Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Bay de Verde on Thursday, 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Friday, 10:30 to 3:30 p.m. DUE TO STORMY WEATHER CONDITIONS, FUNERAL MASS WILL TAKE PLACE FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 28 AT 4:00 P.M. from Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Bay de Verde. Inurnment in Assumption Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bay de Verde at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Catherine M.
