Passed peacefully away at her residence on Sunday, February 23, 2020, Ruby King of Perry's Cove, age 76 years. Predeceased by parents: Graham and Beatrice Pike; infant brother: Duncan; sister: Bernice (Frank) Pike; brothers-in-law: Adolph Penney, Cyril Butt and Ivan Westby; sister-in-law: Loretta King. Leaving to mourn, husband: Warrick; one daughter: Bernice (James) Gillingham, CBS; three sons: Terry (Wanda) and David (Sylvia), both of Perry’s Cove, and Jerry (Tina), Upper Island Cove; seven grandchildren: Bradley, Tara, Kyle, Kent, McKenzie, Grace, and Christie; five great-grandchildren: Rylee, Jaxson, Barron, Lauren, and Tyson; two brothers: Neville (Ada) Pike and Wallace (Peggy) Pike, both of Harbour Grace; two sisters: Minnie Penney, St. John’s and Marilyn Pike, Harbour Grace; brother-in-law: Albert King; sisters-in-law: Kay Butt and Janie Westby; her church family; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Monday, 7:30 to 9:00 p.m.; Tuesday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Wednesday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, February 26 at 2:00 p.m. from Riverside United Church, Salmon Cove. Interment in the United Cemetery, Perry’s Cove.
