Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family at Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear on Tuesday, December 31, 2019, Nelson H. Taylor of Bristol's Hope, age 81 years.
Predeceased by parents: Percy and Nellie.
Leaving to mourn, wife: Stella; one daughter: Joan (Chris) Sheppard, Bristol’s Hope; two sons: Nelson Jr. (Karen) and Keith (Mona), both of Bristol’s Hope; five grandchildren: Terri (Greg), Ashley (Robert), Michele (Jamie), Kayla (David), and Kailey; six great-grandchildren: James, Hannah, Taylor, Daniel, Savina Pearl, and Niall; one sister: Joan (Clarence, deceased) Cleary, Harbour Grace; also members of the Earle family, other relatives and friends.
Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Thursday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Friday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Saturday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, January 4 at 2:00 p.m. from Coughlan United Church, Harbour Grace. Interment in Coughlan United Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to Coughlan United Church, P.O. Box 209, Harbour Grace, NL, A0A 2M0.
