Obituary of Simeon G. Sellars

Passed peacefully away at Labrador West Health Centre, Labrador City on Monday, December 9, 2019, Simeon G. Sellars of Western Bay, age 86 years.

Predeceased by wife: Audrey; parents: Josiah and Gladys; brother: Cyril.

Leaving to mourn, one daughter: Donna (Hanson) Sutton, Victoria; three sons: Dennis (Bernice), Ochre Pit Cove, Desmond (Deborah), Goose Bay, and Rev. Dean (Georgina), Labrador City; eight grandchildren: Dionne (Jason), Dane (Melissa), Christopher (Jennifer), Jason (Teri-Lynn), Nicholas (Chloe), Nicaela (Randy), Deanna, and Sami (Danny); six great-grandchildren: Jacob, Avery, Mia, Reed, Rachael, and Simon; three brothers: Rudolph (Faye), British Columbia, Eric (Elsie), Western Bay, and Ellis (Caron), Carbonear; two brothers-in-law: Ray (Olga) Jacobs, St. John’s and James (Violet) Jacobs, Ochre Pit Cove; also a large number of other relatives and friends.

Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Thursday, 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Friday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Friday, December 13 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Western Bay. Interment in the United Cemetery, Ochre Pit Cove.
