Passed peacefully away at Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear on Tuesday, October 8, 2019, Dolly Clarke of Carbonear, age 97 years. Predeceased by grandchildren: Karen and Robert Slade; son-in-law: Charlie Noseworthy; parents: Thomas and Carrie Deering; brothers: Jordan, Graham, Thomas, and James; twin sister: Laura; sisters: Hazel Wareham, Mary Colbourne, Carrie Lewis, and Elizabeth Moores. Leaving to mourn, husband: Edward; five daughters: Marie (Clarence) Mutrey, Pauline Murray, Joyce (Don) Boone, Iva (Peter) Wells, and Yvonne Noseworthy; two sons: David (Marg) and Reginald; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Thursday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Friday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Friday, October 11 at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel, Carbonear. Interment in the Salvation Army Cemetery, Carbonear North. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Janeway Children’s Hospital, 300 Prince Philip Drive, St. John’s, NL, A1B 3V6.
