CLARKE, Earl E. - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, November 24, 2011, Earl E. Clarke of Victoria, age 81 years; retired B & B Foreman with CN. Predeceased by wife: Esther; parents: John S. and Margaret; son: Harold; infant sons: Earl and Terry; brothers: Charl and Harold; sister: Lizzie. Leaving to mourn, five daughters: Margaret (Robert) Clarke, Victoria, Ina (Alan) Clarke, St. John's, Evelyn (David) Noel, Victoria, Hazel (Wayne) Parsons, Carbonear and Muriel (Kevin) Byrne, Victoria; two sons: Earl (Claudette) and Terry (Paula), both of St. John's; ten grandchildren: Robert (Wynette), Kristopher (Melanie), David (Michelle), Crystal (Michael), Jennifer (Jimmy), Edward, Dawn, Leigh Ann, Ryan and Jillian; four great-grandchildren: Sara, Caroline, Raine and Griffen; two sisters: Evelyn (Malcolm) Penney, Carbonear and Beatrice Hussey, St. John's; daughter-in-law: Margaret Clarke, Victoria; sisters-in-law: Beryl Clarke, Victoria, Muriel (Gerry) Attwood, Mt. Pearl, Ina (George) Denty, Mt. Pearl and Alice Peckham, Victoria; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear after 3:00 p.m. Friday, November 25. Funeral service to take place on Sunday, November 27 at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church, Victoria. Interment in the United Church Cemetery, Victoria. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the United Church Cemetery Fund, Victoria.
