Obituary of Debra (Butt) King

Passed away after a lengthy illness at Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, October 3, 2019, Debra (Butt) King of Perry's Cove, age 55 years. Predeceased by mother: Viola Butt; father-in-law: Frazer King; step-grandchildren: Octavia and Lita. Leaving to mourn, husband: Richard; one daughter: Nicole (Matthew) Drodge; three step-sons: Ricky (Laura) King, Bristol’s Hope, Chad (Jennifer) King, Alberta, and Jonathan King, Perry’s Cove; one grandson: Gavin; four step-grandchildren: Nicholas, Nate, Ashton, and Jaxxon; father: Warrick Butt, Carbonear; two brothers: Gary Butt, Carbonear and Roger (Jeanne) Butt, Ontario; mother-in-law: Evelyn Snelgrove, Carbonear; sisters-in-law: Hester (Derek), Aggie (Kevin), Sharon, and Joanne (Troy); brothers-in-law: Bruce (Dorothy), Roger (Debbie), and Jamie (Sandra); also her special friends at Tim Hortons; as well as a large number of other relatives and friends. Following cremation, visitation will take place at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, October 5 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear.  In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
