Obituary of Aseaneth H. Rose

Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, St. John's on Wednesday, September 25, 2019, Aseaneth H. Rose of Salmon Cove, age 99 years. Predeceased by husband: Jehu; daughters: Paulette and Printzlyne; son: Roger; granddaughter: Sheila; brothers: Harry, George, and Albert; sisters: Katherine, Lillian, Mary, Helen, Olive, Thelma, and Effie; son-in-law: Wallace Maidment. Leaving to mourn, four daughters: Thelma Maidment, Salmon Cove, Sophie (Woodrow) Butt, Carbonear, Rosalind (Wilfred) Burden, Small Point, and Lorna (Carmond) Cull, Broad Cove; three sons: Gerald (Grace), Salmon Cove, Oscar (Lorraine), Salmon Cove, and Wayne (Eunice), Victoria; daughter-in-law: Darlene, Salmon Cove; sons-in-law: Wade Dean, Victoria and Clarence King, Salmon Cove; twenty-four  grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one sister: Edith Butt, Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Thursday, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Friday, 10:30 to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Saturday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, September 28 at 2:00 p.m. from Riverside United Church, Salmon Cove.
