Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, September 9, 2019, Mose Hunt of Riverhead, Harbour Grace, age 91 years. Predeceased by wife: Elizabeth 'Liz'; parents: James and Mary Anne; infant brother: William; brother: Thomas (Mary Ellen) Hunt; infant sister: Janie; sisters: Agnes (John) Cinotti, Alice (Dan) Jackman, Marguerite (Malcolm) McGregor; brother-in-law: Tom (Annie) McCarthy; parents-in-law: Joseph and Margaret McCarthy; lifelong buddies: Bill and Emmanuel. Leaving to mourn, four daughters: Mary (Kevin) Verge, Carol Hunt, Debbie (Pat) George, and Betty (Max) Sheppard, all of Riverhead, Harbour Grace; two sons: Junior (Lorraine), Riverhead, Harbour Grace and Jim (Jackie), Upper Island Cove; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one sister: Mary (Malc, deceased) Whalen; sisters-in-law: Mary (Bill, deceased) Hennessey and Mary (Mike, deceased) McCarthy; special family friend: Mamie Yetman; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Wednesday, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Thursday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Friday, September 13 at 10:30 a.m. from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Riverhead, Harbour Grace.
