Passed peacefully away at Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear on Tuesday, September 3, 2019, Mary Ellen Noftle of Broad Cove, age 93 years. Predeceased by husband: Ralph; daughter: Judy; daughter-in-law: Linda; parents: John and Bertha King; brothers: Arthur and Calvin; sisters: Mariam, Edith, Minnie, Lily.  Leaving to mourn, son: Ralph Jr., Brampton, ON; son-in-law: Clayton Penney, Salmon Cove; two grandchildren: Sherry (Derrick) and Quentin John; two great-grandchildren: Eden and Aaron; also a number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Friday, 7:30 to 9:00 p.m., Saturday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Sunday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Sunday, September 8 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Western Bay. Interment in the United Cemetery, Broad Cove.  In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the North Shore Central Ambulance Fund, P.O.
