Obituary of Francis Delaney

Passed away at his residence on Tuesday, June 11, 2019, Francis Delaney of Carbonear; formerly of Gull Island, age 72 years. Predeceased by wife: Maisie; parents: Peter and Gertrude; sister: Betty Hurley; brother: Cyril. Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Celeste (Stephen) Loughrey and Raelene (Mark) Crocker, both of Ontario; one son: Patrick (Jennifer), Ontario; step-children: Amanda Moyles and Amelia (Craig) Upshall; grandchildren: Cale, Maleaha, Emmerson, Adia, Grace, Haley, Paul, Kevin, Lakaiyah, Khaleem, Chance, Faith, Cameron, and Paige; great-grandchild: Gabriella; and extended family of wife Maisie; three brothers: his best friend Philip, Carbonear, Daniel (Patsy) and Joseph (Beverley), both of Gull Island; one sister: Christine (Harvey) Button, Old Perlican; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Thursday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Friday, June 14 at 11:00 a.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Western Bay. Cremation to follow. Inurnment to take place at a later date in Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Cemetery, Northern Bay.
