Obituary of George B. Homer

Passed peacefully away after a brief illness at the Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, February 3, 2019, George B. Homer of Harbour Grace, age 91 years. Predeceased by wife: Lillian; infant daughter: Mary Pearl; sisters: Mona, Ruth, Pearl and Alma; brother: Charlie. Leaving to mourn, three daughters: Donna (Lorne) Lagimodiere, Winnipeg, MB, Geraldine McNeil (David Howson), Mississauga, ON, and Barbara Ouellette (David Chouinard), Tacoma, Washington, USA; one son: George (Shauna), Olympia, Washington, USA; seven grandchildren: David, Allana, Adam, Matthew, Alex, Sarah, and Emily; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; two brothers: Joe, Toronto, ON and Gerald, Trenton, ON; dear friends: Vera King, Sharon and Brian Collins and family; also a number of other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, February 9 at 2:00 p.m. from Coughlan United Church, Harbour Grace. Interment in the  United Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
