Obituary of Minie Rose

Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at the Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, April 2, 2018, Minie Rose of Salmon Cove, age 91 years. Predeceased by husband: George; son: Jeffrey; granddaughter: Allison Rose; son-in-law: Lloyd Parsons; brothers: Eric, Roy, Warrick, and Reg; sisters: Sadie and Aggie. Leaving to mourn, five daughters: Elvie (Philip) Curran and Ethel (Mike) Murphy, both of Carbonear, Christine Parsons (George), Victoria, Lenora (Ellis) Hiscock, Kitchener, ON, and Georgie (Myres) Forward, Salmon Cove; two sons: Harold (Judy) and Glen (Judy), both of Salmon Cove; a large number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law: Jessie Mae Slade, Salmon Cove; one sister: Arletti King, St. Jones Within; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Wednesday, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Thursday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.; 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Friday, April 6 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Interment to follow in Riverside United Cemetery, Salmon Cove. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Lung Association of NL, P.O.
