Obituary of Louise Evans

Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear Long Term Care Facility on Thursday, May 4, 2017, Louise Evans of Carbonear, age 80 years. Predeceased by husband: Eli; parents: Allison and Marion Hiscock; brothers: Sterling and Harry; sisters: Doris Harnum and Sadie Shediac. Leaving to mourn, seven daughters: Sandra (Barry) Morris, Marion (Donald) Griffin, and Rhoda Evans, all of Carbonear, Myrtle Legge, Goulds, Marjorie (Ken) Thomas, Spaniard’s Bay, Mamie Evans, Whitbourne, and Trish (Raymond) Williams, New Harbour; two sons: Lewis (Lynn), Corner Brook and Gene (Dale), Heart’s Delight; ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one sister: Jean O'Keefe, St. John’s; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Saturday, 2:30 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Sunday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., and Monday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Monday, May 8 at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel and Cemetery, Carbonear.
