Passed peacefully away with her loving family at her side, at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, July 30, 2016, Mary L. Kelloway of Salmon Cove, age 97 years. Predeceased by: first husband: Austin Drover; second husband: Leonard Kelloway; infant daughter: Ada; parents: Albert and Ada Jones; brother: Nathaniel Jones; sisters: Susie Drover and Beatrice Mercer. Leaving to mourn, one daughter: Blanche (Harold) Peckham, Salmon Cove; five granddaughters: Pauline (Cliff) Penney, Brenda (John) Smith, Debbie (Drew) Killeen, Wanda (Darrell) King, and Dana (Barry) Cole; eight great-grandchildren: David (Kasie), Dionne (Nicole), Lester (Mary), Kristen (Jarratt), Karly (Scott), Adam (Danielle), Victoria (Tyler), and Brady; three great-great-grandchildren: Karmen, Arron, and Payton; one brother: Walter Jones, Ontario; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear, on Sunday, 7:30 to 9:00 p.m.; Monday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Tuesday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, August 2 at 2:00 p.m. from Riverside United Church and Cemetery, Salmon Cove. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Riverside United Church, P.O. Box 250, Salmon Cove, NL, A0A 3S0.
