I was so saddedned to hear of Howard's passing. Howard was such a Handsome, kind, and gentle man. I remember our special little chats, especially when I would visit, Aunt Jessie, Howard's Mommy, as he would affectionally call his mother. Howard you joined the angels on my Birthday. This shows me our special connection as cousins. We are all connected in this CIRCLE OF LIFE. Till we meet again may God hold you in the Palm of his hand...............

To my Dear Uncle Howard, Words can not express how I am feeling this week. Knowing you as a practical and humble man, you would not want any of us sad at all. I will cherish many memories I have of you : when I was kid you gave me my first set of boot roller skates, over the years lots of advice, sharing laughter, talking about horses because you knew how much I loved them(even after I grew up). I am so glad we had such a wonderful visit recently even if you weren't feeling 100%, you never lost your wit and humour. I love you very much Uncle Howard. I will miss you. Your niece, Lori

For Howie, Sunset and evening star And one clear call for me And may there be no moaning of the bar When I put out to sea. But such a tide as moving seems asleep Too full for sound and foam When that which drew from out the boundless deep Turns again home. Twilight and evening bell And after that the dark And may there be no sadness or farewell When I embark. For tho from out our Bourne of tide and place The flood may bear me far I hope to see my Pilot face to face When I have crossed the bar. Alfred Lord Tennyson Crossing the Bar
