Obituary of Robert Evely

EVELY, Robert - It is with great sadness that we the family of Robert Evely of Victoria announce his passing at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Monday, September 26, 2011 at the age of 71 years. Predeceased by his parents: Gordon and Molly Evely; brothers: Graham, Everett, June and Benjamin; sisters: Jean Clarke and Daphne Green. Leaving to mourn, his loving wife of 50 years: Emma; his three daughters whom he cherished: Pamela (Rick) Collins, Clarenville, Wendy (Keith) Baldwin, Cambridge, ON and Cheryl (Bill) Peach, St. John's; five grandchildren whom he loved dearly: Jordan, Christopher, Caleb, Brayden and Katelyn; three brothers: Lloyd (Lavinia) Evely, Dennis (Kim) Evely and Phillip Evely, all of Victoria; four sisters: Donna (Clifford) Harris, Victoria, Gloria (Brian) McCarthy, Harbour Grace, Theresa (Calvin) Smith, Upper Island Cove and Sherry (Greg) Butt, Victoria; sisters-in-law: Emma Evely and Rose Evely, both of Victoria, Rosalie Evely and Olive Evely, both of Ontario; brother-in-law: Des Clarke, Victoria; step-mother: Freda Evely, Victoria; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear after 7:30 p.m. Monday. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, September 28 at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church, Victoria. Interment in the United Cemetery, Victoria. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Robert Evely Memorial Fund.
