BADCOCK, Goldie C. - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, August 18, 2011, Goldie C. Badcock of Carbonear, age 71 years. Predeceased by: parents: Joseph and Marjorie Gosse; sister: Dorothy. Leaving to mourn, husband: Allan; three daughters: Brenda (Jim) Daniels, Cole Harbour, NS, Cathy (Jean) Gaudet, British Columbia and Sharon (Ross) Stewart, Brighton, ON; one son: Terry, Whitehorse, Yukon; four grandchildren; three brothers: Calvin (Frances) Gosse, St. John's, Melvin (Jean) Gosse, Bedford, NS and Eric (Shirley) Gosse, St. John's; one sister: Pauline (Wayne) Kennedy, Spaniard's Bay; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Monday, August 22 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday, August 23 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, August 23 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Cremation to follow. Inurnment to take place on Thursday, August 25 at 2:00 p.m. in St. Mark's Anglican Cemetery, Shearstown. No flowers by request, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
