CLARKE, Raymond - Passed suddenly away at work on Wednesday, August 10, 2011, Raymond Clarke of Carbonear, age 59 years. Predeceased by parents: Francis and Irene; brother: Bill. Leaving to mourn, one daughter: Melanie, Clarke's Beach; one son: Lee, Alberta; one granddaughter: Hannah; three brothers: Ralph, Carbonear, Wallace (Janice), Labrador City and Tom (Lois), Carbonear; four sisters: Peggy (Don) Sharpe, Ontario, Rose (Charles) Hefford, Conception Bay South, Rita (Don) Sellars, Whitbourne and Betty Clarke, Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear after 7:00 p.m. Thursday. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, August 13 at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church, Freshwater, Carbonear. Interment in the United Cemetery, Freshwater, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the United Church Cemetery Fund, Freshwater. Visitation hours at Noel's Funeral Home are 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. daily.
