PARSONS, Minnie - Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Thursday, April 28, 2011, Minnie Parsons of Victoria, age 80 years. Predeceased by parents: Joseph and Eliza Evely; brothers: Harold Evely, Boyd Evely, Donald Evely, Winston Evely and Maxwell Evely; sister: Dorothy Parsons; sisters-in-law: Hazel Evely and Hilda Evely; brother-in-law: Alex Parsons. Leaving to mourn, one daughter: Donna (George) Pryor, Victoria; two grandchildren: Dion (Jenny), Mackinsons and Kristy (Monty) Costache, Yellowknife; two great-grandchildren: Colby and Devin; one sister: Beatrice (Harold) Priddle, Victoria; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Funeral service to take place on Sunday, May 1 at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church, Victoria. Interment in the United Cemetery, Freshwater, Carbonear. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
