CLARKE, Eric H. - We are very sad to announce the passing of our loving husband and dad at Kanata, Ontario on Saturday, February 19, 2011, Eric H. Clarke of Carbonear, age 87 years. Predeceased by daughter: Marilyn, brother: Edgar; son-in-law: Ron and brother-in-law: John. Forever missed by his dear wife: Barbara, Ottawa, Ontario; two daughters: Jeanette, Kanata, Ontario and Pauline, New Zealand; son-in-law: Val Noges, Willowdale, Ontario; seven grandchildren: Robert (Cassandra), Bradley (Danielle), Brian (Rebecca), Laura (Dan), Kristen, Nicola and Claudia; one sister: Grace Howell, St. John's; sister-in-law: Caroline Clarke, Carbonear; also a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. A special thank you to the Forest Hill Nursing Home for their kindness and dedication. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Tuesday, February 22 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday, February 23 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, February 23 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear. Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Parkinson Society of Canada, 316-4211 Yonge Street, Toronto, ON, M2P 2A9.
