Francine & Family: We were shocked and saddened to hear of Rene's passing. Neither myself or Lloyd knew that he was sick. We have fond memories of Rene from when you lived here in Bears Cove. We will never forget his help and kindness when we were building our house (we still have his trademark ceilings!)and his pointers and shortcuts in carpentry. I found him to be a no-nonsense man, very pragmatic in his ways. I will miss seeing him at the Bog Pond when I walk along the track during the summer but will surely remember him then with a smile. To the Family; We were shocked and saddened to hear of Rene's passing. We visited him a few days over this past holiday season and we are very thankful that we got the opportunity to sit with him and chat, for him to met our precious son with whom he played with and spoke to in a grandfatherly like tone. Hold close your memories of Rene, treasure every moment that you spend with him and believe that someday you will meet him again. He is now in a place where he can trout from the pristine lakes of heaven and build his home with the Heavenly Father. May God bless you and help you through this time of sorrow. Our prayers and thoughts are with you now and always. David & Shannon Humber

To the Sergerie Family, Please accept our deepest condolence on the passing of Rene. We did not know Rene very good, only met him on a few occasions, but we heard much about him from Al and others in the community, he was a well respected carpenter in this community. Even though your love one is gone from your sight, he will always remain in your heart, in your memories. Keep you memories alive, and know that God only takes the best, his suffering and pain are no more and may he rest in peace. God Bless you all! Tom & Bridget Rose

Al/Mom- I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My heart is breaking for you. Al, I want to send you a BIG hug straight from Fort McMurray!! Wish I could be there with you guys right now. I read a poem at Keith's Uncles funeral last week, it is called Miss Me, But Let Me Go... When I come to the end of the road And the sun has set for me I want no rites in a gloom filled room Why cry for a soul set free! Miss me a little - but not too long And not with your head bowed low Remember the love we once shared Miss me - But let me go! For this journey we all must take And each must go alone It's all part of the master plan A step on the road to home When you are lonely and sick at heart Go to the friends we know And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds Miss me - But let me go! This is so beautiful and so true. I know you are hurting inside right now but just think that your Dad is in a better place. I know it is hard to cope with but your strong and you have a good woman by your side you help you through it....and of course a wonderful step-daughter!! Love you guys so much!! Your in my prayers! xoxo
