Zena,
I will never forget the time I went to Newfoundland. I would visit you and you would always make me moose soup! I loved your moose soup. Then you would treat me with your delicious cookies. You taught me how to crochet and were always so kind. This was about 3 summers ago, so it has been awhile. I will never forget your smile.
Love your Arkansas Friend

I am really sorry to hear of Zena's passing. I will always remember my trip to Newfoundland the summer pf '89. I especially enjoyed going to Broad Cove with Sadie. Zena was such a sweet woman. I am so glad that my 2 daughters had the opportunity to meet her as well. My oldest loved her moose soup that she made especially for her when she came to visit. Zena will be really missed, but stay strong and know that she is now in God's hands.

I have known Zena my whole life. She took care of me as a young boy. She always treated me as if I was one of her own. I think that she was this way with everyone she came across, always warm and inviting. The last time I had seen Zena was in the hospital this past summer. One of the things she said to me was, " Randy, my son, I haven't got any socks for you this year. We shared a laugh. I know that she was suffering and I know that she is now where she wants to be. I hope that she is at peace. Zena, I will love you always and I will always have you in my heart.
