When dad called me on Sunday I was shocked and saddened to hear that nan had passed. I remember all the summers I spent at Nan and Pop's. I used to go up in the back yard and pick raspberries, bring them down to nan and she would fill a bowl right to the top and put sugar on top, it was some good! I always looked forward to Christmas with nan and pop, it is one of my most cherish memories I have of nan and pop. I will always remember nan as being loving and caring towards me, Vickie and Bruce. I will always cherish the memories I spent with nan. She will be forever in my heart. I wish I could be there with dad and the family, but i know in my heart that nan and pop are together again, looking down on all of use. We send all our love to dad and the family. We miss you and love you nan. Love Kurt & Amy

I can’t explain the saddest that I felt when I heard of Nan Pilgrims passing. A little piece of my heart has been ripped away, but I know that she is in a better place with pop. I have a lot of wonderful memories of Nan, one of which sitting at her kitchen table when I was younger reading “Our Daily Bread” bible verses; she always kept them on the window sill next to the kitchen table. She knew I loved them so much that she bought me my own set. I am sending all my love to Dad, Auntie and the rest of the family, wish I could be home with you all. I feel a little comfort in knowing that Nan isn’t alone anymore and that her and Pop are finally back together and enjoying ones company again. Nan, you are forever in my Heart! Love, Vickie

Calvin, Karen, Bruce and family I was deeply saddened to hear of Myrtle’s (Auntie’s) passing. She was a wonderful woman, always friendly and energetic. I have many fond memories of spending time with her and Ed at their house when I was growing up, memories which I will treasure for the rest of my life. They both made a tremendous impact on my life, for which I will be forever grateful. Find strength in each other, as well as your family and friends to get you through this difficult time. Have faith that God will guide you and be there for you when you need Him. And find comfort in knowing that she is again with her beloved Ed. You are all in my thoughts. May God bless you all. So saddened to hear of Myrtle's passing. Having known her personally and through church, she was a sweet, funny and dedicated lady. I also know how loving and caring both she and Ed were when they provided daycare for my sister Fran's daughter for a good length of time. I know she will be greatly missed by her loved ones, but now Myrtle herself is home in Heaven. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
