Daphne and I wish to send our condolences to the Penney family. We know you will cherish the great memories of your dad and that they will keep the good times alive for you. Through his longevity, Oliver became an Adam's Cove icon and will be long remembered by all who knew him.
I will truly miss him. There was hardly a time that when I visited Adams Cove, that I didn't drive in by his home. It was much easier to converse with him when his wife was there or one of the sons. May God bless.

I had the wonderful priviledge to meet and recently spend time again with Pop this summer. He was the happiest and most jovial elderly man I have ever met.
